Unfortunately, we do not. We can re-make and or redesign a piece with the jewelry you have, then give you scrap credit for the Gold, and put that credit towards the new design. We will use your stones, but we do not do scrap credit of stones.

All jewelry restoration is different but still possible if you bring the piece to a professional. Our expert bench jeweler has been with Mark Diamond’s for nearly 40 years and can work with various metals and gemstones. Common repairs we do:
-ring sizing
-chain repair
-prong re-tip and replacement
-stone setting and replacement

When polishing a piece of jewelry, professionals use a buffing wheel and compound to remove scratchesd, so it looks as perfect as it did the day you bought it. This process is not the same as cleaning jewelry. Cleaning jewelry usually takes a few minutes; we at MDJ will check to make sure everything is secure then place it in an ultrasonic to remove dirt and buildup. While this will make your piece shine, it doesn’t buff out those scratches and instead helps remove dust and grime that are blocking the sparkle of your jewelry!

The 4C’s of Diamonds are a term that was first coined in the 1940s, as a way for beginning gemology students to remember the metrics for characterizing a faceted diamond The 4 C's stand for color, clarity, cut, and carat. They are four different scales on which all diamonds are ranked and classified.

Engraving is a great way to add a personalized, romantic touch. If you're interested in getting something engraved on the inside or outside of your ring band, that is something we offer and can accomplish either via Machine Engraving or Laser Engraving.

Simply put, a diamond certificate is almost like a birth certificate for your diamond. With a Round diamond, it will list every single detail about your diamond, leaving nothing up to opinions. But this is only true for Round diamonds. Fancy shapes, anything other than round, don’t traditionally have a “Cut” grade, which means there is nothing that determines the amount of brilliance, sparkle and fire that a diamond shows. . The cut can be chunky with large facets, or crushed ice, or bow tied, etc. Only seeing it in person or on video will allow you to know how nice it looks.
